Balance-of-Payments Deficit Widens in Denmark

COPENHAGEN —
Denmark’s balance of payments deficit widened in 1984 to 17.2 billion kroner, or $1.47 billion, from a deficit of 11 billion kroner in 1983, the government’s Bureau of Statistics reported.
For the fourth quarter of 1984 alone, the balance of payments deficit was 5.7 billion kroner, or $489 million, compared with 4.5 billion kroner in last three months of 1983.
