El Monte
County supervisors have awarded contracts to two El Monte agencies to conduct alcohol recovery and drug-abuse treatment programs. The Wayne Fanning Alcohol Education Program Inc. will receive $218,469 for detoxification services. The Mid-Valley Community Mental Health Council will be paid $46,613 to provide outpatient drug treatment.
