Bernhard H. Goetz filed countersuits against two of four youths he admits shooting on a New York subway, seeking damages of $1 from each. Goetz was arrested in the Dec. 22 shootings of youths he said had threatened him. On Feb. 4, the mother of Darrell A. Cabey filed a $50-million damage suit against Goetz on behalf of her son, who is paralyzed and in a coma. The next day, another of the youths, Troy Canty, filed a $5-million damage suit against Goetz.
