Burma Attacks Drug Lord

BANGKOK, Thailand —
A force of 2,400 Burmese government troops backed by mortar fire attacked forces of drug warlord Khun Sa in eastern Burma this month, killing or wounding many, Thai officers said Thursday. The raid Feb. 8-11 in Kayah state drove about 150 civilians into Thailand.
