Long Beach Women Beat Stanford, 79-61
Kirsten Cummings, with 15 points and 8 rebounds, led fourth-ranked Cal State Long Beach to a 79-61 victory over Stanford Friday night in a women’s Western Collegiate Athletic Assn. game at Stanford.
Jackie White and Roslind Boger added 12 points each for the 49ers, who improved their overall record to 23-2 and 11-1. Stanford is 9-16, 2-9.
