Weiss Sets Goal for BIA Effort in Arthritis Telethon

Richard L. Weiss, a partner of Dixco and this year’s general chairman of the Building Industry Assn.’s committee for the 1985 Stop Arthritis Telethon, has set the association’s goal at $200,000, $40,000 more than last year.
The telethon is scheduled to be aired from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today on KTLA, Channel 5.
Weiss, a former president of the Larwin Group Inc. and a partner of the Richlar Partnership, is a director of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, where he heads the urban development and planning committees. He also is a member of the board of trustees of Pitzer College.
