Snake in the Box Fails to Stop Indian Voter

NEW DELHI —
A man trying to cast his vote in an Indian state election was bitten by a snake that slithered from the ballot box, the Press Trust of India reported Sunday.
Despite the bite, inflicted at a polling station in Banda, in Uttar Pradesh state, on Saturday, the man managed to finish voting before being rushed off for medical treatment, according to the Indian wire service.
