The military funeral ordered by President Reagan for 15-year-old John Zimmerman of Fountain Valley will be at 2:30 p.m. March 14 at the Military Cemetery of the Pacific near Honolulu, the boy’s father said. John, who suffered from muscular dystrophy since birth, was befriended by Marines and made an honorary Marine three days before his death on Jan. 18. His last wish was to have a military funeral. Reagan waived regulations that limit funerals in national cemeteries to military personnel, their spouses and children.
