2,400 in Seal Beach Briefly Without Power
About 2,400 Seal Beach customers of Southern California Edison Co. were left without electricity for 45 minutes Saturday when an underground cable failed, a company spokesman reported.
Residents of the downtown area and Leisure World were affected.
Ken Bellis said power was restored at 10:05 a.m. after Edison workmen repaired the cable at a substation that serves the Seal Beach area.
