Cal Circuit ABCO filed a countersuit against NEC.

Share

The countersuit, which seeks $250 million in damages, alleges that NEC Electronics and its affiliates have fixed NEC semiconductor prices in violation of the Sherman Antitrust Act. Filed in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, the suit comes after Mountain View, Calif.-based NEC sued Cal ABCO late last month in the same court to block the alleged unauthorized distribution of NEC semiconductor products. Cal ABCO claims those products were purchased through “international trade channels.” The NEC suit seeks $50 million in damages.
