Teradyne announced plans to expand a plant.
The Boston-based manufacturer of test equipment for the electronics industry said it has signed a contract for the construction of three 120,000-square-foot buildings, valued at $37 million, on an 18-acre site in Agoura Hills. The facility, which requires approval from local officials before construction can begin, will employ 2,000 people. It will consolidate the company’s 750-person work force now housed in two locations in Southern California and will add 1,250 new employees.
