Murdoch to Buy Into Fox Films

NEW YORK — Australian publishing magnate Rupert Murdoch today said he has agreed to buy 50% of the company that owns 20th Century Fox Film Corp. for $162 million.
In a joint announcement with Marvin Davis, currently the principle owner of the major movie company, Murdoch said his News Corporation Ltd. had agreed to buy half of TCF Holdings Inc.
