Inspectors for the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health, using a court warrant, inspected part of Greyhound Bus Lines’ downtown Los Angeles terminal for possible violations of carbon monoxide and diesel particulate standards. Though test results will not be available for several weeks, initial indications are that the amounts of pollutants in the air there are relatively low, state officials said. The Los Angeles Superior Court order for the inspection came after complaints from a Greyhound worker and after bus company officials refused an inspector access to the facility, a Cal-OSHA spokesman said. Greyhound officials could not be reached for comment.
