About 2,000 demonstrators opposing the sale of Cathedral High School to a group of Japanese investors marched through downtown, police said. The group included parents, students and former students of the 60-year-old Catholic high school, which the Roman Catholic Archdiocese has arranged to sell to a Hong Kong developer for $11 million. The marchers want the school to continue to operate because of its success with urban Latino students.
