Czechoslovakia Expects to Pay Debts by Year’s End

PRAGUE, Czechoslovakia —
Czechoslovakia expects to have its foreign debts paid up by the end of the year, Premier Lubomir Strougal told Parliament.
The amount of the national debt has never been officially reported. but Western monitoring organizations estimate it at between $2.7 billion and $3 billion.
