Belgian Consumer Prices Increase 0.8% in March

BRUSSELS —
Consumer prices in Belgium rose 0.8% in March and the annual average inflation rate rose to 5.7% from 5.3%, the Ministry for Economic Affairs said.
The most substantial price increases from the levels of February were for gas, electricity, gasoline and heating oil. Prices also rose for fruit and vegetables, meat, dairy products, textiles and shoes.
