The Studio City Beautification Assn. will unveil plans at 8 p.m. today for landscaping the banks of the Los Angeles River between Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Radford Avenue.
Drawings for the three-block project will be on display at City Councilman Joel Wachs’ office, 12229 Ventura Blvd., Studio City.
Also on display will be plans for two other landscaping projects the group is planning, at a traffic island at Ventura Boulevard and Radford Avenue and a vacant lot at Laurel Canyon and Valleyheart Drive, according to Irwin Stanton, association president. He said the group is expecting state grants to pay for the river-bank project and private funds to cover the other two.
