5 Carrier Planes Damaged

NORFOLK, W. Va. — Five aircraft were slightly damaged when a Navy jet fighter, attempting a night landing on the carrier Nimitz, missed an arresting cable and struck other planes on the flight deck, a Navy spokesman said Wednesday.
