Mastercard Names New Chief Executive

Richard M. Rosenberg has been elected chairman of Mastercard International Inc., the worldwide credit card company based in New York.

Rosenberg, 55, will be leaving his current post as vice chairman and chief of the California banking group at San Francisco-based Crocker National Bank. He joined Crocker last year after serving as vice chairman of Wells Fargo Bank.

MacNeal-Schwendler Corp., a Los Angeles company that markets a line of software for computer-aided engineering, named President Joseph F. Gloudeman to the additional post of chief executive. He replaces Richard H. MacNeal, one of the 22-year-old company's co-founders, who remains as chairman.

Gloudeman joined the company in 1978 and was promoted to president and chief operating officer in 1983.

El Segundo-based Computer Sciences Corp. has named William E. Perren president of the development and operations division of the company's information network services group.
