R. G. Adams Heads New Home Warranty Assn.

The Home Warranty Assn. of California has been formed, with Raymond G. Adams president, Jennifer Gomez, vice president, Jill O. Righetti, secretary, and Michael Harkey, treasurer.

“One out of every four homes sold in California is sold with a home warranty plan,” Adams said, adding that most of the home warranty plans provide for the repair or replacement of the major working systems and built-in appliances of resale houses.

The new association, with offices at 222 E. Palm Ave., Burbank, will review, examine and evaluate regulations applying to the home warranty industry, compile and distribute statistical information and establish and monitor a code of ethics, he added.
