Today Is Deadline for Ballots
Today is the last day to apply for an absentee ballot for Tuesday’s municipal elections, Los Angeles City Clerk Elias Martinez said. Ballot applications may be obtained in person at the city clerk’s election division in Room 2300 of City Hall or by sending a letter showing the voter’s name, residential address and signature to the City Clerk, Election Division, P.O. Box 54377, Terminal Annex, Los Angeles 90054.
Voters also may mail the application on the back page of the city’s Sample Ballot and Voter Information Pamphlet to the same address. But mailed requests must have today’s postmark. Ballots must be received by the city clerk’s office no later than 8 p.m. on election day, Martinez said.
