The Region : RTD Aids Children Hunt
The Southern California Rapid Transit District, joining the campaign to find missing children, said it will place posters with youngsters’ pictures aboard buses starting today. Each of the bilingual posters will show two of the estimated 24,000 missing California children, the RTD said. They will be posted inside 2,600 buses, which carry about 1 million passengers daily, RTD board President Nikolas Patsaouras said. He added that the posters will be changed monthly.
