THEATER BOOM BOOM

Share

One basic problem common to most L.A. theaters is the lack of customer service skills in ticket sellers, information givers and general theater personnel. (Movies solved this problem, in part, by using recordings which, though dull, are, at least, not rude.

Theater is a people business. If the personnel enthusiastically go out of their way to create a positive suport system, theater going will become less cold and threatening, especially for first-timers.

With ticket prices ranging from $10 to $50 for most productions, consumers can buy rudeness and apathy for a lot less elsewhere.
