A Shia Muslim extremist group called Islamic Jihad (Holy War) is suspected of planting a bomb that killed 18 people Friday and destroyed the Descanso Restaurant near Madrid, Interior Minister Jose Barrionuevo said. No Americans were killed but 15 were injured. Islamic Jihad also took responsiblity for suicide attacks on U.S. installations in Beirut in 1983.
