Eagleton Leaves Hospital After Mild Heart Attack

WASHINGTON — Sen. Thomas F. Eagleton (D-Mo.) was released from Bethesda Naval Hospital on Monday, 10 days after suffering a mild heart attack that prompted him to drop his heavy smoking habit. Eagleton, 55, suffered a mild heart attack at his home April 5. He was hospitalized for extensive tests.
