The 16 jurors in the attempted murder retrial of Claus von Bulow will be sequestered for the expected two-month trial to isolate them from publicity, Superior Court Judge Corinne Grande ruled in Providence, R.I. The decision delighted prosecutors and disappointed Von Bulow and his attorneys. Grande said the jury had to be isolated to preserve the integrity of the trial, which has attracted about 200 reporters from around the world. Two vacancies have yet to be filled on the panel. Von Bulow is charged with trying to kill his heiress wife so he could inherit $14 million and marry his girlfriend.
