John Alden Life Insurance acquired Ticor Life.

Robert B. Holmes, chairman of John Alden Life Insurance, reported that the purchase of the California-based company received the required approvals of the insurance departments of California and Utah. The purchase of all of the outstanding shares from Ticor was closed last Monday. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
