Black Churches Urged to Follow Their Roots

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Black churches that are growing and making their best contribution to Methodism are those that are the most authentically black, that have gone back to their roots, the Rev. Zan W. Holmes told the United Methodist Church’s black caucus.
