Yale Will Try to Double Tenured Women Faculty

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — A year after a faculty report urged the recruitment of more women, a Yale University official announced that the college will try to nearly double its current tenured women faculty to about 30 by 1990. Yale now has 17 tenured women faculty members.
