Parkview Estates, a project planned for 163 single-family, zero-lot line homes, opens its first phase of 32 today in Corona, with move-ins scheduled for mid-June.

Three floor plans, in one- and two-story designs, offer two bedrooms and den or three bedrooms and two or 2 1/2 baths in 1,687 to 1,841 square feet. Prices range from $129,950 to $135,950 with 30-year financing at a fixed rate of 10.8% and a 5% down payment through the city’s housing bond program.

Features of the homes include vaulted ceilings, clerestory windows, skylights, bay windows and others with window seats, sliding glass doors to side and rear patio areas, used-brick fireplaces and hearths, oak handrails and balustrades, hand-troweled textured ceilings, oak kitchen and linen cabinets and luminous kitchen ceilings.

The zero-lot line design maximizes yard space while allowing side-yard patios. Exteriors are highlighted by used-brick veneers, wood and textured siding and wood trim.

The architect is Kermit Dorius & Associates of Corona del Mar, while Yeiser-Garland & Associates of Costa Mesa decorated the three models, which are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily at 1882 Kingsford Drive, off Corydon Street just south of River Road.
