Hotel Interior Designer Relocates to Larger Site
Concepts 4, an interior design firm formerly located in Inglewood, has purchased a 5,000-square-foot building at 1247 6th St., Santa Monica.
The firm specializes in interior hotel design and is currently involved in the planning of the Sheraton Inn San Francisco Airport and the Brookview Country Club and the addition to the Sheraton Scottsdale Resort, both in Arizona.
Redken Laboratories
Redken Research Laboratories Inc. is planning relocation of its research center to a building directly across the street from the firm’s headquarters at 6636 Variel Ave., Canoga Park.
The 26,000-square-foot facility will house a state-of-the-art chemical research laboratory which includes product development, salon testing, and administrative support space. The architectural concept includes a landscaped central atrium.
The Amherst Co.
The Amherst Co., a real estate investment, consulting and tenant brokerage firm, has relocated its corporate headquarters from Los Angeles to San Diego in the 3636 Camino Del Rio North Building in Mission Viejo.
The firm will retain an office in Los Angeles, but will conduct the bulk of its consulting and brokerage operations from its new San Diego base.
Iliff, Thorn & Co.
Iliff, Thorn & Co. of Phoenix has announced the opening of the commercial brokerage firm’s seventh office, the fifth in California.
Two offices recently established in Southern California include one in Orange, at 2211 Orangewood Ave., and another in San Marcos, at 310 Via Vera Cruz.
SEG-Southwest Estate
Development firm SEG-Southwest Estate Group Inc., formerly located in La Jolla, has expanded its staff and relocated its corporate headquarters to the Home Tower in downtown San Diego.
SEG, with its parent company in Vienna, Austria, has taken 4,600 square feet of space on the 16th floor of Home Tower. The firm specializes in the development of commercial, residential and mixed-use projects.
