Applied Circuit Technology Inc. of Anaheim, a producer of automatic test systems for computer disk drives, Monday announced sales agreements with a combined total of approximately $6 million with International Business Machines Corp. and Seagate Technology.

The contracts are for Applied Circuit’s new Analog Test System and Servo-Writers as well as its standard Intelligent Test System for digital-production testing.

“The contract with IBM has two-fold significance,” said Walt Menetrey, president of Applied Circuit Technology. “Not only is it the largest single agreement we’ve ever signed with IBM, it also is the first major contract for the ATS since its release four months ago.”

Applied Circuit Technology reported revenues of $10.1 million in 1984 and Menetrey said the new contracts “probably will contribute to our having a very much better year than last year.” He estimated that the agreements would represent 25 to 30 percent of the company’s business this year.
