Members of the board who were re-elected are Burgess Dempster, Robert B. Bonney, John F. Bishop, William J. Bowers, and J.J. Shelton.

Phillip J. Stevens, chairman and president of Ultrasystems Inc. recently announced the promotions of three of the Irvine energy and engineering company’s executives into newly created positions:

John H. Dean, has been named executive vice president and will continue to serve as president of Ultrasystems Defense and Space Systems, Inc., a position he has held since 1982. He also serves on the company’s board of directors.

Y.T. Du has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer. He previously served as controller and chief accounting officer.
