Man Dies of Plague

SANTA FE, N.M. —
A rural New Mexico man died over the weekend of an infectious pneumonic form of plague, possibly carried by fleas, officials said today. His death prompted health officials to give antibiotics to about 70 people with whom the man came into contact.
