Informatics General is considering ‘alternatives.’

The Woodland Hills company, which is engaged in a proxy fight with Sterling Software, said it “is exploring alternatives to the company’s future, including a change in ownership.” The company said “several avenues are being investigated, including the possibility of the company being acquired by an investment group that includes management and the sale of Informatics to a substantial corporation,” which the company didn’t identify. Meanwhile, Sterling reiterated its desire to meet with Informatics directors to negotiate a merger.
