50 Occupy Lebanese Consulate in Australia

SYDNEY, Australia —
About 50 Lebanese Christians occupied the Lebanese Consulate in Sydney on Thursday to protest against fighting in their homeland and vowed to remain until peace is restored.
Their spokesman, Karim Kirswani, told reporters that the takeover was part of an internationally coordinated campaign to draw attention to the role of foreign powers in Lebanon.
