Strike Forces Portugal’s Airline to Cut Flights

LISBON —
Portugal’s national airline canceled about half of its flights Monday after maintenance staff began an indefinite strike, a TAP-Air Portugal spokesman said.
Union officials said the strike was observed by most of the 1,200 technicians, angered by an administrative decision abolishing a top grade.
