Dobrynin Resolution Criticized

WASHINGTON —
The State Department today criticized as “unwise and inappropriate” a House of Representatives resolution calling for the expulsion of Soviet Ambassador Anatoly F. Dobrynin unless Moscow apologizes for the shooting death of an American officer.
The House passed the non-binding resolution Thursday 322 to 93. Dobrynin is the dean of Washington’s diplomatic corps, serving as ambassador since since March 30, 1962.
