Siamese Twins Die in Italy

BOLOGNA, Italy —
Siamese twin boys died Thursday a few hours after a surgical team performed a 15-hour operation to separate them. They were joined at the head with a single set of veins. The infants, identified only as Fausto and Davide, died about two hours after the operation. They were born Dec. 28, 1984.
