Bruins Finish Off USC

UCLA broke a 4-4 tie with two runs in the eighth inning and added four in the ninth for a season-ending 10-5 victory over USC Sunday at Dedeaux Field.

Gary Berman had a sacrifice fly in each rally for the Bruins (34-30-1, 13-17), the first one breaking the tie. David Allard had a run-scoring single and an RBI triple in the rallies. Todd Zeile hit a three-run homer for the Bruins in the third inning.

USC (22-44, 5-25) finished with its worst conference record ever.
