Belgium’s seasonally unadjusted industrial production jumped 9.9% in February from January but was still down 0.2% from a year earlier, the National Institute of Statistics said.

Building activity remained slack, but there was an increase in output in other industrial sectors, the institute said.

Excluding the building sector, industrial output was up 3.2% from February, 1984, the agency said.
