Digital Equipment introduced a new product line.

The Maynard, Mass.-based manufacturer said its new MicroVAX II systems will be the most powerful 32-bit super-microcomputers in the industry. At the same time, Digital announced a new high-performance graphics work station, VAXstation II, which the company said will set a new price/performance standard, starting at a price of $26,500 and available in July. The product is intended for the engineering, commercial, education and computer graphics markets.
