Caltrans is to begin work next week on the Santa Ana Freeway from Washington Boulevard to the Long Beach Freeway.
The project will widen the freeway, modify the interchange and add sound walls and new striping. On- and off-ramps along the stretch of freeway will be closed for short periods at various times of the day and night.
The project is expected to be completed by November, 1986, at an estimated cost of nearly $10 million.
