Thai troops supported by planes and artillery continued their attack on Vietnamese troops dug into a hill about half a mile inside Thailand. A Bangkok military spokesman said the Thais have retaken part of the hill and have found many Vietnamese bodies. Between 800 and 1,200 Vietnamese troops crossed the Thai-Cambodian border late last month in pursuit of Cambodian rebels.
