National Power Technology has signed a three-year, $2-million contract with Motorola/Four-Phase of Tempe, Ariz. National Power will manufacture switching power supplies for use in Four-Phase’s Series 2000 microcomputers.

PMRealty Advisors of Newport Beach said that AmericaWest I, a $50-million closed-end real estate investment fund, is fully invested following the acquisition of Beachstone Plaza, an office and retail center in Huntington Beach. The fund is comprised of 11 properties in five states. PMRealty is a unit of Pacific Mutual Life Insurance Co.

QMS Inc., formerly Quality Micro Systems, recently opened a western regional office in Irvine. The new office, headed by Jeff Fleming, will provide sales and technical support to the company’s authorized distributors.

Interstate Electronics Corp., an Anaheim-based subsidiary of Figgie International Inc., has been awarded a $16.5-million contract by the U.S. Air Force Armament Division at Eglin Air Force Base in Shalimar, Fla. Interstate officials said the company will develop a new electronic tracking system which could replace the obsolete tracking radars now used to flight test aircraft and missiles. The contract includes between $20 million and $25 million for an optional second phase.
