The president of El Salvador’s Christian Democratic-led Legislative Assembly said his party plans to call for the dismissal of Atty. Gen. Jose Francisco Guerrero, who it believes has obstructed prosecution of human rights cases. The attorney general was appointed by the assembly last summer when rightists controlled that body.
