Seville Suggestions

. . . Brought back memories of the troubles we had in Seville 2 1/2 years ago. My wife’s purse was snatched from our car on the southerly highway. As a result, we would 1) carry purses and wallets totally stripped of anything not absolutely necessary. 2) Stop vehicle well back from other cars at signals to allow maneuvering room if attacked. 3) Each carry a credit card with a different number or company, so with one canceled you would still have one to use.

4) Carry photocopies in luggage of plane tickets, passports, travelers check numbers, and two passport pictures. 5) Know that the U.S. Consulate in Seville does not know that many airline tickets will not be replaced, and your refunds for return tickets will take about six months.
