The Du Pont Co. and Molecular Biosystems Inc. said they will cooperate on development of in-vitro diagnostics utilizing DNA probes. MBI Chairman Kenneth Widder said the venture will link MBI’s “cutting edge” DNA probe and detection technologies with Du Pont’s marketing and research capabilities.
