MSI Data Corp. has named Richard W. Hoag senior vice president for its worldwide marketing and sales operations. Hoag, 49, comes to MSI from Computers International Inc., where he was president and chief executive. MSI also announced the promotion of George Harris to vice president in charge of field services. Harris, 44, joined MSI in 1980 to manage the field service organization in the United States and Canada. MSI manufactures portable data-collection systems.

Marine National Bank of Irvine has named Tino Gonzales Jr. vice president and senior loan officer of its airport business banking center. Gonzales will be responsible for the development of commercial loans and other corporate banking services for the bank’s small and medium-sized business clients. The 39-year-old Gonzales has been with Marine National for seven years. Prior to that, he was a vice president at Bank Hapoalim in Los Angeles.

Marine National also announced the promotion of Ted Kellogg to senior vice president. In his new position, Kellogg, 34, will serve on the bank’s five-member management committee and will continue as manager of the real estate industries group, where he oversees the real estate lending practices of the bank. Prior to joining Marine National, Kellogg worked for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. as a supervisory assistant for its Costa Mesa liquidation division.
