Two Named Group Vice Presidents by Wespercorp

Autry Ehler has been named vice president of the Western Peripherals Group of Wespercorp, a Tustin electronics company. In his new capacity, Ehler will direct the company’s manufacturing of computer equipment.

Ehler joined Wespercorp after several years as a consulting engineer for companies engaged in the development of a wide range of computer parts, microprocessors and special systems. He has held engineering management positions at Amcomp and at Emulex Corp. in Santa Ana.

In addition, Frank Androski was named vice president of Wespercorp’s Federal Systems Group, the division responsible for developing a computerized air traffic control system for the Federal Aviation Administration.

Androski assumed his new job after spending four years at Cubic Corp. as a program manager. At that company, he created a product line and delivered and marketed it to the U.S. Navy and General Dynamics. He also served with the Navy for 27 years as a program manager, branch director to the Chief of Naval Operations Staff and principal planner and adviser to the Chief of Naval Operations.

Laurence G. Colgate has been named controller and chief accounting officer of Smith International Inc., the Newport Beach oil services company. Colgate joined Smith seven years ago after 13 years with the accounting firm of Price Waterhouse, where he served as a senior audit manager.
